What to do with old CDs that we no longer need? One couple came up with an creative idea on how to use the material. They decided to cut up the CDs, and from the smaller pieces that would be created they built a mosaic for the kitchen wall. Depending on where you stand and how the light falls, the reflections create an incredible composition. On top of all this, the room will seem brighter, and staying in such a place will belong only to pleasure. A creative way to recycle CDs!

Reinier and his wife tried to use different scissors until they found the best pair for them. Then, they just started cutting.

Finally, After 2 Months, It Was Possible to Talk About Success.

    How to Go About It?

    • First, cut the plates into smaller pieces - it is important not to damage the holographic film. Otherwise you can say goodbye to beautiful luminous effects.
    • Choose the right scissors that can handle the difficult material. Perhaps a secateurs will work?
    • You can also use special scissors designed for cutting plastics.
    • Depending on where you want to glue the boards, you need to take care of a strong glue. The gluing itself costs a lot of effort, but it's worth it if you look at these photos!
