10 Life Hacks to Make Cleaning Your Bathroom ABC Easy
Bearing in mind how much time we spend in the bathroom every single day, it comes as no surprise that keeping this place clean is by no means easy. However, if you want your life to be at least a bit easier and you don’t feel like wasting much time to clean, you must check the life hacks below.
The soap dish is always dirty? Use a piece of sponge!
Mark the shape of your soap bar on the sponge (use a marker). Then cut the sponge along, about 3 cm from the top. Cut out some of it so that the soap would fit inside.
Listen to music in the shower
Draw the shape of the phone on a piece of foil, then cut the shape out. Now with hot glue stick the foil to the shower curtain. Use transparent foil and remember to stick it on the outside.
Turn your towels into a soft carpet
If you want your towels to smell fresh, use a homemade spray of water and essential oils
Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to water, shake it well and spray the towels (holding the bottle quite close to the towels)
Stick one side of the tape to the carpet and the other to the floor. No more slipping.
Use double-sided adhesive tape. Stick it underneath the carpet so that it wouldn’t slide.
The drawer organisers common in kitchens will work well as bathroom cosmetics organisers, too.
Use toilet paper to refresh the air in the bathroom
A few drops of an essential oil on a roll of paper will make the scent be slowly released refreshing the air.
Use the soap bars leftovers
You can easily make new soap bars yourself. Use the leftovers! Put them all, including the broken pieces in a bowl of hot water and wait until the soap melts. There shouldn’t be too much water. Once it cools down a little, form a new shape of the bar. You can also put some soap inside your sponge – this time you won’t get annoyed when a thin piece of soap breaks in your hands.
If you need more space in your shower, use the laundry hooks to store your cosmetics
Of course this is only going to work with tubes and a shower curtain, not a cabin.
If you don’t want your mirror get steamy, use shaving foam to clean it
Apply some onto the mirror and spread evenly. Remove it with a paper towel.
