The world of cacti is amazing. They variety of forms the plants take is just breathtaking. One of the species looks like gnarled and twisted plume.

    Crests and plumes

The cristata subspecies of the Myrtillocactus geometrizans cacti will steal the heart of all lovers of succulents. It makes you think of green and blue wave crests forming on the ocean. One might get the impression that the plant is constantly moved by gentle breeze. It looks like a kind of a fancy plume.

    A guest from Mexico

The natural habitat of Myrtillocactus geometrizans is middle-north Mexico. It’s got thick and juicy shoots that grow rather slowly. They look wonderful with their plume and fan-like shape. Once exposed to direct sun, the plant gets covered with a slight waxy blue deposit.

    Plenty of sun

Growing in the wild it can be up to 4.5 meters high and looks like a tree. It can also grown inside as long as it's in a bright and sunny spot and never gets overwatered.
