American Artists Have Created Unusual Colorful Stairs

A university building does not have to be gray and uninviting to enter. All it takes is a creative idea and some paint to turn it into a colorful work of art.

    Tinted Carpet

In the American city of Boone (North Carolina) operates Appalachian State University. Two artists decided to make the entrance to the building more attractive. Katey Truhn and Jessie Unterhalter grabbed paintbrushes and completely changed the stairs, which students climb every day (they lead from the street to the university door). The fabulously colorful mural resembles a fringed carpet.

Vivid colors, geometric and striped patterns draw attention. From a distance the painting looks like an authentic carpet!
