An Ingenious Idea of Dutch Restaurant Owners to Serve Food in the Time of Coronavirus
There are fewer and fewer restrictions imposed because of the virus situation. We all can’t wait to go to a restaurant or a café. Though the regulations differ country to country, we already know what the Dutch restaurants came up with!
The Mediamatic ETEN restaurant in Amsterdam bought mini greenhouses where guests can sit at tables and enjoy the food served by the restaurant. Currently the idea is being tested. It all depends of course on official regulations and how such solution will conform.
The waiters, observing all health and safety regulations, wear protective face shields and gloves. They serve the food only for their family and friends first. However, as you can see on the restaurant’s website, it’s fully booked.
The restaurant opens its greenhouses only in the evening, but this is when they look even more charming.
