    A snake on the leaves

    A student of herpetology (the science of reptiles and amphibians) got a lot of media attention after she posted an astonishing photo taken in Texas where you can see some soil covered with leaves. However, these is a snake hidden in there. Do you think you can spot it?

    A venomous reptile

    The snake is an Eastern copperhead. It’s venomous and it lives in North America. An adult one can be up to a meter long. It’s got brown-yellow body with reddish stripes.

    Let me give you a clue – the snake is roughly in the middle of the picture near one of the leaves…

    It is really hard to spot it as it has blended very well into the environment. After a couple of minutes you could find it in the middle of the picture.
