Cleaning the Kitchen. Boring, Tedious and Exhausting. Perhaps the 9 Clues We Have Got for You Will Make Your Kitchen Efforts at Least a Little More Bearable

To make this job at least slightly easier for all our readers, we have collected a bunch of useful hints. Hopefully it will all be less burdensome now and, who knows, perhaps you will clean your place on more regular basis.

#1 A nasty smell in the refrigerator

    Obraz

Mix two spoonful of baking soda with a liter of hot water. Use it to clean the inside of the refrigerator.

    #2 A shiny stove

    Obraz

To make your kitchen stove shine, spread a layer of car wax. Then remove it all with a paper towel (or a soft cloth). The wax will provide a protection layer preventing the dirt from accumulating on the surface.

    #3 Cleaning the toaster

    Obraz

Unplug the device and clean it well with a... toothbrush.

    #4 Refreshing your coffee-maker

    Obraz

Mix white vinegar and water in 1:1 ratio. Pour the solution in. Run one cycle with the solution instead of water. Then run it again, using water only.

    #5 Cleaning kitchen cabinets

    Obraz

There are plenty of applications of washing-up liquid. Still, I guess few of you are aware that you can also use it to clean the surface of kitchen cabinets. Just mix two spoonful of the liquid with two cups of warm water. Use it to clean the furniture. Then, using a sponge and warm water, wipe it all off. Your cabinets will shine again!

    #6 Grease in the kitchen

    Obraz

If there are any greasy areas in your kitchen, you can use... mineral oil. Weird? Well, the thing is that greasy stuff can be removed by… greasy stuff. It's just how it works!

#7 Stains on the baking trays

    Obraz

If your baking tray is badly stained, you can restore it to its former beauty using a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Mix it in a right proportion to form some paste. Apply it on the stains and leave it there for an hour. Wash it all down with warm water.

    #8 Wooden chopping boards

    Obraz

Removing stains and smells from such surfaces is never easy. How should we handle this then? Apply a thick layer of salt on the board and then rub it well with half a lemon. Finally wipe it all with a dump paper towel.

    #9 Bacteria in sponges

    Obraz

Sponges make a wonderful hotbed for bacteria. The best way to exterminate them is to put a dump sponge into a microwave for 60 seconds.
