There is a group of people behind the project in question here. In 2004, Nikola Bašić, a Croatian architect created a concept and then invited a team of experts to put it into practice. The team included Vladimir Andročec (hydraulics), Ivan Stamać (sound), Matija Galošić (design) and Tomislav Heferer (design and tuning). The first sounds were heard on April 15, 2005.

    An intriguing experience

The steps leading into the sea were divided and 7 10-meter long sections. Thanks to 35 polyethylene pipes of various length, diameter and angle, the water movement inside the pipes generates a variety of sounds. The project was awarded the European Prize for Urban Public Space.
