Good weather encourages us to spend more time outside. If you have a garden, it is natural to try growing your own vegetables and flowers. And don’t think that you are not cut out to be a gardener. We all are! All you need is a couple of useful gardening tricks, just like the ones my grandma taught me. Thanks to her I can enjoy a massive harvest in my garden!
How to grow tomatoes
My grandparents have had their garden for years. This is where they grow their tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchinis. Of course the entire family benefits from their hard work there. And we always wonder how they manage to have such sweet and juicy tomatoes. I just couldn’t resist it and I asked my grandmother what I could do to enjoy such tasty harvest.
The secret lies in a huge 3-liter jar. Pour about 2.6 liter of chlorine-free water. Then add 100 grams of yeast mixed with lukewarm water and half a glass of sugar.
Then cover the jar with gauze and put in warm place, gently shaking from time to time. The mixture has to rest until the fermentation process is over. Once it is, a glass of it has to be diluted with 10 liters of water. And this is the solution that you use to water the tomatoes. However, do not use more than a liter within 24 hours.
Using this method you can expect a bigger harvest of healthy and beautiful tomatoes whose red and shiny skin will make everyone’s mouth water. Of course do not exaggerate with the fertilizer– apply it only three times in a season, as it is absolutely enough to get stunning results!
The shrubs will break under the heavy tomatoes. I have already tested this method and, believe me, it is definitely worthwhile.
