My Grandmother Would Always Put Some Ice Cubes in Pots. This Is an Old Gardening Trick
I love plants. I simply cannot imagine my flat without any flowers or succulents. However, many of them ended dead on my window sill.
As a granddaughter of a real plant lover, I immediately fell back on her to ask how to take care of the plants. Of course she didn’t let me down. I would like to show you a very simple trick how to water plants.
Watering plants does not have to be complicated. If you are afraid that you will water the plants too much or not enough, all you need is ice cubes.
Ice cubes will melt slowly enough for the plants to absorb as much water as they need.
This trick also works when you don’t have a watering can and you use a plastic bottle to do it.
Thanks to this trick your basil, mint and other potted plants will have just as much water as they need.
