The #K9 Cinema (which in American slang translates as "Dog Cinema") was founded in Plano, Texas (USA).
Where did the idea come from? Its owner, Eric Lankford, was completely fed up with the fact that he had to leave his dog alone at home when going to see a movie in a normal cinema
$15 is the price of a normal ticket to the "dog cinema". It allows one person plus their dog to enter the auditorium. The price also includes unlimited drinking of local whiskey or wine
You can also bring more than one dog with you for another $5. There's enough room inside to comfortably accommodate everyone with their furry friends
The cinema does not stream the latest movies, but rather has themed evenings and plays a whole series of movies (including Game of Thrones marathon)
The Dog Cinema has been very well received by the local community. Lankford is already planning to open more outlets in other cities and is raising funds to do so
