    Yarnbombing is something like knitted graffiti. Artists knit colorful objects and decorate urban spaces with them. This type of art was born in Texas (USA) and with time it has found recognition all over the world.

    In Scotland (the town of Selkirk) there is a group called Souter Stormers. Its members meet regularly to knit and crochet together. They present their works at art festivals and decorate city trees, benches, telephone boxes, monuments, poles or bicycles with them. Among this group, as recently as 2015, was Grace Brett. It wouldn't be surprising if it weren't for the fact that the woman was 104 years old at the time and still bravely bombarding the Scottish town of Selkirk with yarn.
