Never Leave Bottles with Water in Your Car on a Hot Day
This information may come as a big surprise to many. Still, it can really save your car. Under no circumstances should you ever leave bottles filled water or any other drinks in a car outside on a sunny day as this could... cause a fire!
Bottles of fire
While it may sound totally ridiculous, there is some rational behind what the firefighters have to say. There is some real danger in bottles with liquids left inside a car in the sun.
The fire starts with water and sun
It is all because a bottle could work as a lens focusing sun rays. Of course the bottle itself won't catch fire. In fact, with a little bit of bad luck it can focus the sunrays on another easily flammable object (car seats, carpets, clothes) and start the fire in this way.
Explosive cans
You need to know that with the ambient temperature of 26 degrees C in the summer, the inside of the car can go up to the boiling 52 degrees C! There is a risk that each can or bottle filled with a fizzy drink can simply explode if left on the seats. Moreover, the bacteria growth, rapid at these temperatures, makes water completely undrinkable.
