The Couple in Love Thought They First Met at University. The Secret Was Uncovered by Mom
Some love stories are so incredible that they seem to happen only in books and movies. Love at second sight was shared by a British couple.
Student Laundry Story
Heidi and Ed Savitt first met (at least that's what they thought at the time) at Newcastle University (a university in the British city of Newcastle upon Tyne) in 2011. He was studying psychology and she was studying economics and management. In the student apartment, the young man had a problem with starting the washing machine. So he asked the previous tenant, who turned out to be Heidi, for help. A few weeks later they met again and Ed asked the woman out on a date. Since then, the couple became inseparable.
Surprising Photos
Once Heidi invited her chosen one to dinner at her parents' house. Then her mother remembered that Heidi had a boyfriend named Ed while on vacation in Turkey several years ago. She scoured old photos and found that they showed a smiling Heidi and Ed at age 6. The couple first met on a family vacation in Bodrum in 1997. These photos stunned everyone!

Holiday Friendship
It turned out that two families from different parts of the UK met in Turkey at the same time. Ed grew up in London and Heidi in Sheffield. The kids became friends with each other during a holiday camp, and after returning to England, their contact broke down. They met again after 14 years and fell in love with each other. Such improbable stories happen mainly in books.
Currently, the couple is already married. They live in London and run a cafe. They also have a son named Blake. After years, they visited a holiday resort in Turkey, where they met for the first time.
