    The Alps have got another attraction –a bookstore high up in the mountains. Not only does it offer fantastic books, but it also enchants its customers with breathtaking views.

    The bookstore was set up in June 2019 in Aosta Valley near Mont Blanc. It is located 3466 meters above the sea level, on the mountain of Punta Helbronner. The bookstore is called La Feltrinelli 3466 and has got floor area of 60 square meters. Perhaps this is not the biggest bookstore, but the views the customers can admire through the shop window are stunning!

    The bookstore offers over 2000 titles. Of course there are several books about mountaineering and climbing. There is also some space where you can sit and enjoy the book and the landscape.

    During the opening ceremony in 2019, Federica Bieller, the CEO of Funivie Monte Bianco Spa, the operator of the cableway said:

    'Skyway Monte Bianco is not just a cableway, it is a concept. It is about bringing people closer to mountains and to the sky, it's about broadening the horizons and going beyond the limits. Thanks to the bookstore our cableway is enriched with the cultural assets of the place.'

    You can get to the bookstore by Skyway Monte Bianco in June, July and August., every day from 9:30 to 5:30.
