The Stairs to Help You Survive the Summer at Home. It’s All About the Things They Stash!

The virus has discouraged so many of us from going on summer holidays. On the other hand, that gives us a great opportunity to perform a couple of redecoration and upgrade works at home. Of course major renovation is not always possible but a few minor DIR jobs will always do.  Murray Berrill, an Australian builder, came up with an idea to use the space beneath the stairs to store wine.

We have already presented several examples how the stair space can be managed. The stair drawers are a fantastic one

If you are keen to use all space at home for a purpose, just like Murray Berrill is, why not make use of his idea?

Of course at first he needed to make sure that all bottles will fit in and that the entire structure will be strong enough.

It took him a week and a half to create storage space for 156 bottles of wine.

The project, due to quality materials and very solid finishing securing appropriate storage of the precious beverage, is not cheap. The temperature is constantly monitored and in the future it is also going to be air-conditioned.

Do you think such a wine stash could do in your place?
