    Thinking of the daughter

Gordon and Maggie Hartman are a married couple working in the construction business. During their holidays with their disabled daughter they noticed that some kids didn't quite want to approach their child and play with her in the pools. This moment was a turning point in their life. And this is what inspired them to create the water park.

A paradise island with no barriers

It was in 2017 when the first water park for the disabled people opened its gate for the first time. It is located in an old quarry in San Antonio, Texas (USA). There are 25 amazing attractions for both children and adults. They are all easily accessible and people who move on wheelchairs can use enjoy them just as well. The whole place looks like a paradise island where you can have fun aboard a pirate ship or among water cannons, geysers or fountains. The biggest attraction is a special heated pool which relieves painful joints and sore muscles.

    Disabled staff

The water park is really safe. Parents receive special bands that help them track their children. Additionally, you can rent waterproof wheelchairs. Admission for the disadvantaged is free. Interestingly, 30% of the personnel are disabled, too!
