Faces of Asian people look different from the European ones, due to different skull shape. They have a wider structure of the central part, which is the cheek line, as well as the jaw line. This results in later stages of ageing, when the soft tissue loss is less visible, and consequently, the skull bones are less visible, too. You won't see so much loose skin, either. Moreover, Asians have got more fat tissue all over their eyes. Its loss in later life stages is therefore less visible. And so are the wrinkles.

Skin will tell you the truth

Asian skin contains far more melanin that the European one. As a result, their skin is slightly darker and it provides a better protection against the sun. it also slows than the process of skin ageing as it retains its flexibility much longer. Finally, their skin is thicker and wrinkles do not appear that early.

    Different lifestyle

Asian diet includes much more seafood, vegetables and dairy products, differing from the European diet dominated by dairy products, meat and foods rich in sugar. Even the cosmetics market takes into account the ageing issues far more than their European competitors.

There are some habits that also have positive influence. The Japanese do a lot of sports and treat all their household chores as physical exercise. And perhaps this is also why their bodies are much healthier than their European friends'.

    Genetic lottery

Scientists have discovered that Asian and Latino-American peoples have got the gene called Methuselah. It is responsible for regeneration of skin exposed to the sun and other environmental factors. This could be also why Asian skin (the gene is more active in their case) is less prone to wrinkling and other similar changes.
