Bathtub works of art
Normally, bathtubs are white rectangular objects to be found in bathroom corners. Tiles on their sides they are supposed to be primarily practical. However, an American designer decided to turn them into something more 'artistic' so that they can become the central part of every bathroom they end up in.
It's all about the wood
Nathie Katzoff started as a carpenter. Then for a couple of years he was a shipwright,. Finally he gave it all up and set up his own business. He combined his love for wood with his love for art and began to make some absolutely stunning bathtubs. I bet you have never seen anything like this!
Everything hand-made
The tubs are hand-made of hard deciduous wood in his workshop in Seattle (Washington, USA). The production process normally lasts 3-4 months, depending on the size and shape of the particular item. All bathtubs are waterproof and their shiny finishing protects them against moist and cracking.
A bath in octopus tentacles
You can go for a round or rectangular one. There is even one based on a rack looking like octopus tentacles. Some of them look like giant bowls or cups.
