    You don’t rely need to fall back on chemical agents. Just visit your dry goods store and get some yellow bands or ribbons.

    Aphids are some of ladybugs favorite foods. A single ladybug eats as many as 50 aphids per day! That is an impressive quantity! And that means that within a few weeks a ladybug can devour several hundred of these pests!

    To invite ladybugs to your garden, attach yellow bands to shrubs, trees and other plants. The color attracts ladybugs and soon, apart from aphids, also the ants will be gone as they eat aphids’ excrements.

    The solution works best when applied before aphids actually appear. Then you can take it for granted that your plants will enjoy an aphid-free summer.
